Goan Sausages (e300g)

As with all of our Goan goodies, we use a 500 year old tradition of curing as did the Portuguese when they sailed to Goa. In fact if unopened, the higher the temperatures our Goan sausages are exposed to the better the taste. Made from chunky Ozzie pork and natural hogs casing Pinto's Goan Sausages contain 100% natural ingredients.

Sausages are an essential ingredient of Goan cuisine and a must have in every kitchen as it produces a wonderful dish on short notice for that unexpected guest. It is quick to prepare, inexpensive and without the need of a cupboard full of spices or the skills of a chef.

Potatoes

200gms

Onions coarsely chopped

1. Sautee sliced onion in a little oil.
2. Dice sausage into 2cm pieces and add along with 1 cup water and diced potato
3. Cook until potatoes turn soft. Sprinkle chopped coriander and serve hot with rice or bread rolls.
